hmmm it looks a bit too square and irregular to be crackle for me but maybe im wrong

i used crackle like that before on my gnarls
yes it's crackle at very odd scale settings

I can give you some settings for crackle
try this:
variation Tx crackle =1.15 (has to be more then 1)
variables:
crackle_cellsize =0.55
crackle_power=0.175
crackle_distort=0.75
crackle_scale=1
c_z=0
now this is your frame made of thin crackle, after that duplicate
this xfrom Tx-duplicate crackle =1.15
variables:
crackle_cellsize =0.525
crackle_power=5
crackle_distort=0.75
crackle_scale=1
c_z=0
and that's you filler for the net, nice and glossy

it's should look somewhat like this >> [link]
the net is made by the power and the gloss filler it's pushing power of the limits
learned that one long time ago by making mistakes and putting wrong huge numbers
( i did remember saying my crackle was 'broken' )
they fit nicely together because distortion and cell size are eqaul or similar (closely)
