It reminds me of the film Monkeybone although Stu Miley rather came to a more gentle stop in his rollercoaster ride!

Monkeybone does get wonderfully daft towards the end but the scenes in Down Town are truly inspiring -I'm surprised and happy to finally find another fan of the movie!

random fact - I love Stephen King and got all annoyed the first time I saw the film because I'd read somewhere he was in it but his part was played by another actor... then I found out he was going to be in it but got hit by that minivan just before they were due to shoot. I was like, ...okay, you're forgiven.

love the poem on this page. I just discovered your gallery and am really loving your comic. the art is fantastic, whimsical, dark and creative. the story is instantly grabbing. you should get these up on a proper webcomic style site. it's easy to do for free. places like comicgenesis, etc. anyway, keep up the great work!
