I haven't submitted anything in a while and I felt like drawing something before bed, so I did. It's a nice feeling...
But I still have two essays and a crapload of Chinese homework.

This here is my personification of my awesome hometown, Edmonton. We are so awesome, it snowed 3 days ago. And it hasn't melted yet. Oh yes. I just hope it's not like up to my knees by Halloween, that would be unfortunate.
As much as he complains about it I'm sure Edmonton is in love with the cold. If he didn't like it he would have moved to Arizona. The cold defines us.

So I've been in a yay my breath is visible mood lately~

Every morning when I head off to school at the U of A if I don't catch the sun rise I still enjoy looking at the sky. Even though it's usually monochromatic grey this time of year. XD
But holy crap since I got back from Australia I've had a keener eye for beauty up here suddenly, it's weird. Those obnoxious finches must have messed with my eyes.
For example, I've never really noticed how iridescent the magpies are. They're not black and white, they're blue and green and purple...

I shouldn't be allowed to type before I fall asleep. I've been staying up playing Pharaoh again agghh...

The lyrics are from a song called "I'm a Believer!" by an Edmonton band I've just discovered called The Provincial Archive. This is one of the first songs of theirs I heard on CBC Radio a few weeks ago, and I love them. ><
I love this city too... I'm not sure why, since I haven't really lived in it for over half of my life. But it's still my hometown. Even though I wasn't born here either. XD

I think that thing in the background on the right looks like the roof of South Campus LRT station, but I'm not totally sure.

I'm just enjoying the colours right now
And those new Olympic mittens. I got me a pair ahuh.
