Description
Once I saw the official artwork for Tears of the Kingdom, I knew I wanted to try and make something similar. Besides, I already did one based on the underground area so it's only fitting that I also make something based on the sky islands.

It was tricky for me to try and create so much of a full landscape while still making it look interesting as these kinds of scenes are not something I'm used to doing. I tried to replicate the ruins and golden trees that are on the floating islands in the artwork. I also included some ruins on the surface, since I expect those will still be there in this game. I added the clouds and atmospheric haze to help with the sense of scale and height. I didn't really have a specific area in mind when making this scene, but I guess it's most likely fits around north Hyrule, probably just south of the Eldin region. The model for Link is the blue-dyed Hylian Tunic outfit from Age of Calamity. It was the closest I could get to resembling the new version of the Champion's Tunic that we've seen in Tears of the Kingdom.
