As part of the Heroverse, When Cranberry goes in to see Frieza in one room, Frieza reveals to him the humiliation he and his allies received back then.

When that monkey child came to Namek along with his friend and Vegeta, all he did was transform into a large monkey to crush Recoome under his foot which would make him a threat to my elites. Later when that Goku transformed into the supposed Super Saiyan of legend, he beats me down so hard which ended me up scared and handy-capped until Namek exploded taking him with it! But it all got even worse when Vegeta came in and transformed into a Super Saiyan himself and ended my fathers life, then mine just before my new conversion was complete. And when I was in Hell with my father, Cell and the other Ginyu Force members...Goku and that green guy came along and made a jabroni out US!!!! But then.....years later, I along with other damned souls in Hell watched Goku achieve a new form and used it to fight Majin Buu and that monkey defeated him with the power from all the earth's inhabitants....growing much powerful than I ever imagined! But now after years of being damned and have been resurrected… there must be a way to rid this universe of those monkeys and that green fighter once and for all, but how?
