Tumblr!Photo preview of a series of illustrations I'm working on for this school project. East of the Sun and West of the Moon is a norwegian fairytale about a young girl who marries a bear king in order to help her poor family.
There will be 20+ coloured illustrations! /o/ And I'm soooo late!

Yeah! Sure it will remind you that. Because the author, Pullman (I don't know if your are talking about the movie or the books), was probably inspired by this tale and its variation, the White Bear King Valemon. You know, Iorek and Lyra kinda remind me a lot the girl from these tales and the bear king.
AAAAND, I'm absolutely a fan of Pullman, so my illustrations of the tale WILL remind the Golden Compass much more than those of other artists. I love those tales and I love Pullman, so...

Can't wait to see this finished! The Polae Bear King was alwaysnone of my favorite movies so EotSWotM and White Bear King Valemon became my favorite tales!
