This is so wonderful! How did you get the resin in only part of the tin? I'd like to use this idea in one of my shrines. I've been obsessed with transparency since I was just a toddler!

I used silicone molding putty to make a "dam wall" while I poured the resin.  Then I peeled it off when the resin was set.

Thank you indeedy - I originally put a little spoeedboat on top of the water and then decided that was too predictable, so got my daughter to make me some rubber duckies.
