Description I've been working on this one for a while. X'D Meet Igor! This friendly fellow is a mix between a toucan, pheonix, and a peacock. A Hybird? A Phecan? Β

At first, I thought this was a photo! I love the saturated colors - the whole painting is very vibrant and beautiful. The amount of detail, especially in his tail feathers, is stunning as well!

The feathers can be a bit tedious, but I think they're rewarding. In many ways, they're not that different than fur. I think scales would be something I'd like to improve on though. :'3

Drawing animals is one of my favorite things to do - especially birds. I do enjoy my cartoony doodles, but it was refreshing to jump back into something more realistic. ^^
