latin name: Abyssus Crocus Incendia -- a fire demon who's innards become so hot it must disperse heat through huge flaps on its back to prevent from burning to death--it has also learned to use its cooling mechanism as a warning display to other predators and mates, similar to a peacocks feathersquick sketch by the awesome psychohazard [link] painted up by me.

Interesting creature though. The space between the two legs looks a little flat compared to the well-renderedness of everything else. I really like the semi-monochromatic feel this has.
