The rest of patrol backed Russetstripe up, and if this was a trap, they would be ready to fight.

Splotch pinned her ears back against her head at Russetstripe's words, and drew her lips back in a sneer. "Yeah, that's not going to happen."

Immediately following Splotch's retort, a black rogue dropped on the patrol from a high branch, landing a hit on Russetstripe.

"Man, I can't belive that worked a second time." Bailey snikered to their companion as they backed away from the patrol of warriors.
Splotch grumbled something unintelligible as she easily shook her leg free of the brambles, and took a battle ready position next to Bailey. "This is the last time I go out with you." She hissed to the other rogue. "I miss Dog."

Peace was tried and failed.
