I thought I was the only one who put soft tissue between the sail and back of the neck. Guess I was wrong XD

Nice theoretically possible neck tissue design. But based on our knowledge with birds, the 3rd and 4th neck designs seem to be the most accurate. They would also allow more neck flexibility and make their heads and necks dive through the water easier with less water resistance; like a duck, geese, or swan.

I think basing its legs only by One (unclear) Fossil is wrong; wait for further fossil discoveries

spinosaurus has always been a bit of an overachiever in the realm of weirdness now more than ever since the discovery.

not really its just an example of convergent evolution therizinosaurs weren't in mongolia so the ancestor of deinocheirus evolved to exploit that niche. whereas spinosaurus was a near 60 foot shark eating titan which was supremely adapted to life in the water with gigantic arms a long neck a crocodile like head and a giant sail and webbed feet theres even evidence it was on the path to being fully aquatic as its hip structure was very similar to the early whale ambulocetus. suggesting it might have turned into some gigantic dinosaur whale if it kept going down the path towards aquatic life. sorry if deinocheirus is your favorite weird dinosaur but in the contest between therizinosaur mimic and sail backed dinosaur whale I think the dino whale wins hands down.

Now that I think about it, if Ibrahim's proportions are right I can see how the fourth one would work. The tail wouldn't just be skin over bones. It could have massive muscles that shift the CoG back over the hindlimbs.

The tail doesn't have to be longer to shift the CoG. It could simply be more massive than Ibrahim et al. presumed (their CoG estimate was based on the assumption that Spinosaurus was shrink-wrapped).

If the tail was massive, then Cau's neck pose wouldn't even be needed for bipedal movement.
Also I felt the need to post the link to this devation to the TvTropes Jurassic Park III trivia page because it does a good job showing how Spinosaurus could be bipedal with these odd proportions. Congrats!

İt cant be Quadrepal because it can Not move if it is.
Because it arms (Even very advanced & lethal among theropods) they cannot support and/or move the Animal
And it is know Spinosaur do lived on the land
İt is more like a Godzilla/Crocodile Rex rather than SpinoPelicanasaurus (ie. Only a Fish eater can catch weakest of fish)

Well, according to some theories it had several minor adaptations to help the body balance itself.
- A long tail, quite a bit longer than the original skeleton
- A sail that extends farther back in the body
- Heavy, solid bones in the legs to make them stronger
- Neck positioned vertically and not horizontally, like a heron's.

The problem is that the arms, shoulders and digits show no evidences for a quadrupedal livestyle (you can't just use theropod arms for walking on four limbs)

The top one looks awesome but Spinosaurus with a more swan-like neck makes me more nostalgic. Oh well, science marches on. I'm just happy we have so much new Spinosaurus material to work with now.
