I had this floating on my computer for a few days. Softened it up a bit before I posted it, the shading was really bothering me.=Ribbontail 's character Dirge. I am so happy I was able to do trade with her. Her characters and books in progress are awesome.
Yeah. Had fun doing something more than a concept sketch.

But my goodness. Little Dirge is so beautiful! I was anticipating something impressive when I initially invited you to trade, but nothing this lovely.

To start things off, there's very little I could critique on. You got her anatomy- from her gangly legs to the crab appendages- correct. Her face here seems a bit lion-like; her muzzle shape is thin and long (even for a wolf). :3
Hoohooo but aside from that one tiny thing I really like this one mate, you did a GREAT job on it. Nice, smooth coloring, a brilliantly stylized use of fur (goodness, I love the shines on her mane), and an even better job with the colors. You got her color scheme DEAD on.

I am very glad you like it. I'm not overly pleased with it, but as long as you like it, I suppose it's ok.
I intended for her face to seem a bit lion like, it is one of the creatures she's composed of. I wasn't terribly sure about that, things do tend to get a bit messed up when there's a style difference.
