As described clearly in the rules, your entry must be a new deviation, made with the challenge in mind! Asside from the fact that entering with an exhisting deviation is quite unfair towards your fellow contestants who worked very hard on creating a new piece of art, what is the point of joining a challenge if you are going to submit a drawing you didn't actually make with that challenge in mind?

I've hit some pretty awesome milestones in the past couple of months! Both on DA and on other accounts on the big WWW. So I've decided it's time for a party!
Although I am hosting this to celebrate some personal milestones, I also want to use this as an opportunity to thank and involve the DA community at large. So I will be combining this contest with something I had in mind for a community challenge.
The Challenge
Draw your OC in a scenario or situation

Draw your OC doing something. It could be fighting, eating, running, drinking tea, whatever you want! You can even draw a short comic. As long as they're doing something. We want to see an action! If you're not sure if your idea will qualify, ask yourself "does this pose imply movement?"
It can be one character or multiple characters, whatever you want.
Humanoid, anthro, feral, etc, are all welcome
It doesn't have to be fullbody, but to be able te depict an action it should be at least halfbody.
Backgrounds are not mandatory, but they do help to set the scene!
It doesn't have to be colored, but remember that effort is one of the judging criterea.
We have to be able to see the action without help! So drawing your character(s) just standing or sitting with a text-balloon and saying they're talking will NOT qualify!
No fanart, and no random characters! I want to see characters who at least have a name and bio, or something else to show they're a developed character (descriptions under art, writing, etc). Fancharacters are allowed, as long as they have a bio etc. If you really don't have an OC you are allowed to create a new one. However, they'll need a good bio or ref sheet to count! (So more than just a few sentences or quick sketches)
You are allowed to add a canon or random character to the image, as long as your OC is the main focus.

We will be judging the entries based on:
Depiction of the character
Creativity, originality and composition
Effort
Rules You don't have to be a Watcher to join, but it will be useful for updates. And of course it would be much appreciated <3
When submitting your entry, put a working link to this journal in your description, AND a link to a reference/bio/ other 'OC proof' of the character you drew (also in your description).
Please leave a link to your entry here in the comments. Don't rely on the mention system! It often doesn't work. No link here = no entry.
All visual mediums are welcome. So no literature, sorry. It would be too difficult to compare visual with written work.
You can enter as many times as you like! BUT each entry must be of a different OC, and only one can win
All entries must follow the DA submission rules
All entries must be submitted after this journal was posted, and made especially for the contest
Any stock used must be properly credited. Bases are allowed, but remember that effort is one of the judging criteria!
Blood and tasteful nudity is allowed, but please keep it within limits. No 'gore just to be gore', and no porn. When in doubt, please ask first.
If I catch anyone being rude to other contestants, they're out
If you win but you don't respond within 7 days the prize will move to the next in line.
