Description
The sea eagle is the biggest bird of pray in the northern European region, and the fourth largest eagle in the world.
With that said, calling it an eagle is actually somewhat misleading, as this is (as the latin name suggests), actually a hawk.

In most countries, eagles as such are placed firmly in the no kill list.
People tends to think that such a lage bird as this one, may kill lambs, and other smal life stock.
The truth however is that the sea eagle would never touch a lamb, nor indeed any land animal.
That is rather the role of the king Eagle.
Who are also on the no kill list.

Anyway, the easiest way to distinguish the two from each other, is while in flight, seen from below. The King eagles talons are more "square", as opposed to the fan-shape, of the sea eagle.

Not that it really matters.
As an eagle should not in any case be shot at.
But you know.
Before you kill an endangered species, let´s at least make sure that we know what we are shooting at, yes?
