Here is my drawing of the iconic scene from Pokemon the first Movie, it's also titled after the gorgeous music that plays during this scene, I listened to it whilst drawing this, here's a link if you need your memory jogging. - www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH0008…

Ash has just been brought back to life by the Pokemons tears, and this is when he wakes up, and Pikachu see's that he's alive, I tried to make Pikachu look as overjoyed/relieved as possible.
The First Movie was a huge deal when it came out and this scene in particular, you had to be made of stone(no pun intended XD) to not be moved by it.

I've been a massive Pokemon fan since it came out when I was 8, I'm pretty sure I won't be growing out of it any time soon I also realised I haven't drawn Ash since I was 9, it was in School and with chalk haha.

Anyway enjoy. If people seem to to like this I may draw more scenes from this Movie, and others.

Sketched onto paper using 2H Pencil, then colored using blendable color Pencils and Black fine-liner. Cleanup and light effects added in Gimp. Roughly 5 hours work.
