If I remember correctly, I was glancing through a gallery from where I had faved one -or was it two- shot and came across this pretty photo which nailed these words to my mind:" This shot needs to get painted!" So I wrote the first comment and asked permission and got it

thats very nice. VERY furry and great background and depth. and since you asked for a critique there are 2 thoughts to keep in mind for next time. The eyes of the cat should be as smooth as the fur you have here is furry. They are like glass windows to the kitty soul. something that might help convey that feeling is adding smoooooth little glints in the eye, even if there are none in the photo.
Secondly, you should study the curve bend structure and direction of the whiskers and eyebrows.
