fantastic! i saw this in a friend's favorites and had to come look at it and see what mediums were used. the concept is extremely well executed. it's perfectly evocative of the title. was it a concept--you decided to create blight or were you making the piece and named it afterward? you either expressed yourself really really well or you have a gift for titles! bleak! blasted! detritus fusty muck mississipi river fossilized organic festering decomposing
have you ever seen peter greenaway's films, specifically, "A Zed and Two Naughts?"

Haha thank you very much. I had a couple of titles in mind from the beginning and this one fitted the most with the finished product. Unfortunately it probably filled the concept too well, as it doesn't exist any more. It's crumbled into nothingness. I suppose that's kind of poetic, but it's shame too.
And I am quite a fan of Peter Greenaway : )

well then it met it's true fate no? decomposed to nothing at all. do you suppose we do that? but there is a photo of it so new people can still enjoy it. not so true of a person. do you think that means the camera really does steal your soul?
