I found out about this new gorilla looking pokemon, Hihidaruma, and I fell in love, I think I'm actually gonna give White & Black version a chance then. So I got inspired by Hihi and well if I were to get the game then I'd get Tsutaja because he looks badass even though I'm more of a fire type trainer.Related content

this is awesome.. ive always found the early selection of fire type pokemon in all the pokemon games is so limited.. i hope we can get this one early on!

hahahaha, yeah me too and making mistakes are the worst on paper too because you can either A) attempt to erase and have a semi noticeable line showing or B) while attempting to erase the paper crumples up from the corners (I go insane when this happens).

This reminds me of a battle of Treecko vs Loudred in the Advanced generation anime
And they are both odd numbered gen pokemon like Tsutaja & Hihidaruma

I'm not a fan of Pokemon (sue me) but this is a good picture. My only suggestions are to try and not use the smug tool, cell shading wouldn't be a bad thing to try out either. I think cell shading would really help out your style and lines. You're getting better, and better man.

yeah, I used to do cell shading, but I've wanted to go for a smoother look on my pictures, but I'll take your advice and do more cell shading. And yeah, I'm not gonna let you leave me behind at getting better, I need to catch up.

Sharp shading would do good for your style. There are some styles that look better with smooth shading, there are others that would look better in sharp shading. I think your style is one more for sharp shading. It would give your pictures a more edgy appeal. If you want to do smooth shading, may I suggest using more line variation? Making lines thinner or even a little transparent?

I'm okay with lines but if you're going to use bold lines, use a sharp shading.

Do super dramaic shading. Use actually colors and not just shades of the same color!

hahahahaha, well Tsutaja is the grass starter, and even though Hihidaruma looks like Infernapes second cousin, it's just a normal pokemon you catch in the wild, plus I think Hihi is just a fire type nothing else.
