dude, i think its an alligator snappin turtle...those things have pointy shells, knarly beaks, and they can jump/move fast and wat not....i worked at a fish farm and ive seen'em.....they're fiesty lil critters but uber cool....

i could be wrong but he looks like a black knobbed map turtle - there's another one with a similar shell but i forgot the name of it, he so freaking CUTE, he's just a little baby in this pic.
