this is beautiful the pattern you chose for the clothing is awesome, and the coloring is fantastic all around! you captured her spirit rather well (not familiar with the character but this says a zillion things about her.) I do believe this is probably one of my favorites of your work.

woah very cool. the coloring is great. lol, i like your little "me- who knows the motion of the fire n the right sleeve contradict each other" yeah they do but the picture has such brilliant light it's hardly noticable

Also it's okay that the motions don't fit each other. Sometimes you have to sacrifice what makes sense for what looks better. They may be moving in contradicting ways BUT it creates a better composition. It's circular and it keeps you looking at the picture longer because of it, and isn't that what every artist wants, for someone to look at their stuff more than half a second? XD

Yeah. That's my reason for going with the contradicting directions. I drew another flame going the "correct" way but it just didn't seem that appealing. This was definitely the better composition.

AND YES!!! GESTURAL POSE FOR THE WIN!!!!!! I FEEL SO PROUD :')

It's fairly simple but hard to explain xD Just using my paint brushes is all. when I have time, I might post a tutorial about it
