Well, well, well, the first time I used a ballpoint pen as an art tool, some months ago, I instantly fell in love with it! But ... life can be hectic so I immediately forgot about ballpoint pens.

However, a few days ago, and while being on a prolonged (kind of a) vacation and not having my normal pencil tools with me, I was inspired to use a pen again. I mean ... use it as an art tool. Obviously!

So here we have Hugh Jackman as Logan, aka the Wolverine, drawn with a (almost entire! ) black bic ballpoint pen. Oh, there was also a guest star, a white marker I used for the white hairs. Aaaaand to fix a few proportional mistakes!!! I won't tell you which ones, but you can always guess!

And I fell in love with ballpoint pens again, I hope it will last this time, lol!

PS: I used 2/3 of a black ballpoint pen for this A4 drawing! It shouldn't be a shock, for the same background in a pencil drawing I would use at least a couple of 8B pencils, bit still... WOW!
