Curious coincidence: Have something on a similar theme in my sketchbook, although on the thoroughly cute side with someone handling a docile pet tarantula.
Funny how even something so specific as a spider and an eyeball can have such a broad spectrum.

It could very well be. After all, the spectrum is indeed vast.

I have to say I'm very fond of your eye-drawings!
This has yet another haunting concept that is sure to give me some bad dreams in the near future, and I absolutely love the idea.
The spider is execprionally well done and I also really like the web and the lashes.
You've done a good job on the overall skin texture as well, but you might want to define the eyelid crease and other little wrinkles around the eye some more, since they would normally be better visible in such a close-up shot.
This is really something else. Keep creepin'!

Your input really means a lot, this my first eye painting and spider.
I got so focused on those I overlooked the wrinkle and creases.
Looking at it now it is so obvious, how could I have missed that.
