not terribly complicated but it takes time, lots of watercolour layering...wash, dry, wash, dry, you get the idea

Oh, I bet it does. I love the mix of colours, look at that, there's purple, and blue, and green in her hair, and it looks exactly right. Btw, the bird is the cutest thing
