This is just so beautiful. I love the pastel coloration and of course, the spiral design. (I'm such a sucker for spirals!) And this one is no exception. The lovely fluidity of this piece is graceful, smooth, and flowing. Such a gorgeous work of art is going into my faves!

wow, this sounds exciting. Well, all I had to do is click on a button to generate and each time it would come up with a new pattern. I read that some people use plugins,do you? ttyl8r!

There are many links to Ultra Fractal tutorials, here at DA and on the internet. I am a little confused by your message as although you can click to generate a new formula, it takes quite a lot of work, and a lot of practice to bring these formulas to a standard of "fractal art". I'm not sure about the plug-ins though ~ this is more for graphic programs such as Photoshop. I use several fractal programs and have been working with them for nearly 17 years ~ I'm still excited by the amazing possibilities of this form of digital abstract art.

Actually, I tried Apophysis 2.08 Beta. And by going to the Random Batch Menu and then clicking on one of the presets, it will generate a new shape and color and this can be modified again and again by going to the Variation" Menu and then choosing one of the multi built-in presets. There is more to it....I just tried it for a couple of minutes yesterday and just know a bit. Sure, I haven't obtained any great artworks out of it in a couple of minutes but I was impressed by all the designs it could make. But you know this one, don't you?

Sue, Apophysis is a good starter program if you want to get into fractals ~ although I don't use it myself as I find it very limiting and repetitive. Ultra Fractal is initially difficult (and expensive) but so worth the effort in the long run ~ there are trial versions you can try and many tutorials to check out! What program do you use to create your wonderful digital art with?
