Fantastic pencil work. Reminds me of Frezatto's style... What size is it?

All of the work was originally done on 11 x 14 sketchpaper. The three images were compiled through PS, so the actual sizes of each individual character is roughly 6 x 11, all being about the same size. Pretty dinky materials, soft lead (usually 0.7 lead in a mechanical pencil) and Strathmore recycled sketch paper, not withstanding the Photoshop CS assistance. Thanks for the questions and interest in the gallery here.

I can't possibly comment on the originality, detail, and style of this.
Have you published comics yet? I'll love to read your work.

Very professional looking work! The detail is exquisite. The armor design reminds me of Akira Toriyama's manga work a little bit (I mean that as a compliment, he does some great looking mechanical designs).

"With Ate' by my side, come hot from hell, shall in these confines with a monarch's voice, cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war!" Muwahahahaa!! Oi...it's been a few years, but I think that was the quote...*scratches head* Anywho, very impressed with the detail on this one. Plus I love dogs, so very nice. ^_^ *wishes she had your mad skillz*

It's called "Contrasting the forefront character with the BG characters, so as not to confuse the eye when looking at all of the detail if they were the same saturation", love. Or, wait.... it's just called contrast....yeah, contrast......take that.
