Thank you! I really did a lot of artwork for Imperial Skies and I'm quite proud of it, so, by all means, support the game if you find it interesting!

 And I do think some of the money raised will eventually get to me anyway, because this isn't the only project Robin is doing and he just asked me to provide artwork for them as well.

Well, it is going to be a comic book, but right now it's still very much at the advanced concept stage. I know roughly what the story is going to be, but I'm still trying to work out what the world looks like. What gets posted to DA is only the tip of the iceberg - for every drawing I post there are 10-15 that stay in my sketchbooks, but it is getting there, if somewhat slower than I'd like.

Also, I am occasionally switching gears between working on Inner Space and working on Shadowless, which is on a much more advanced stage - both the concept and stories are pretty much done and I need to get around to drawing actual pages, but real world intervened with a really crappy 2014 and 2015 which left me scrambling from one crisis to the next on top of my day job which already takes waaay too much of my time.
The latest crisis was last week when I had to replace both my computer and smartphone a few days the one from the other...

So yeah, I'm sorry it's taking so long, but please bear with me. I'm sure the result will be worth the wait.

De fapt nu am parasit grupul - pur si simplu a fost o perioada de cateva luni in care nu am dat deloc pe DA din motive personale si invitatia a expirat pana sa apuc e sa o vad.

Ilustratiile Skoda sunt ale mele intr-adevar, au fost facute pentru o carte publicata de Muzeul Militar National si aflata in vanzare la acesta. La fel si ilustratiile FNG.

Imi pare rau, dar nu schimb denumirile desenelor pentru nimeni. Take it or leave it.

Thank you! That is high praise indeed!

I am a fan of Miyazaki, but I've tried to not let myself be influenced too much by his work and instead do something else whenever possible.

Still, that is not always possible and, in fact, there are a lot of similarities in those cases where we ended up using the same primary sources for our inspiration - for example the wondrous machines of 19th century illustrator Albert Robida which served as base for the machines in Howl's Moving Castle and which I've also used for some of my drawings.

This is also why I've ended up grounding my work a lot more in reality rather than the realm of imagination in order to better create a world which is "my own" and, why not, show off a bit of my research...

In fact I only watched it a couple of months ago and found both our worlds remarkably similar in both scope and concept.

Not really surprising, since we most likely drew inspiration from the same places - prototypes, paper projects, all the paths real life didn't take but we choose to walk, in order to create a world which is both alien and familiar at the same time.

As such, there's no way I can't be a fan - it's a very good movie, set in a world very similar to my own...

Sorry to dash your hopes, but, unfortunately, this is nothing but an empty promise made by Victor Ponta to try to lure the monarchists to his side in the upcoming elections, on November the 16th. It's a transparent lie, and made even more abominable by the fact one of his stated goals is to realign the country away from the EU and towards Russia.
