I would just like to mention how the opponent is not black but a brown. Just interpreting as I do I seem to see that evil is never truely evil- there's some gray (or if you may, brown) area of what's right and wrong. Perhaps the boy (androgynous girl, possibly) is drawing out of art block? defeating the monster?

Anyway, I always admire the detail and color schemes you use. It's not stark but not light in intricacies.

I just... can't get over this painting Besides being visually stunning and all of your other fabulousness to it It's the suggestion of a narrative that really gets to me!! It's like it evokes some kind of original/ancient middle eastern fairy tale (something you'd find in One Thousand and One Nights?). Even tho I have no idea what it's about, it suggests so much fantastical narrative intrigue ...that I want to read it HAHA It's amazing, I totally adore it!!
