Been working on this since August (took a break for a few weeks due to NYCC prep and work and class) and finally finished it. It's been my 'for fun' drawing when I've been stressed or bored but I wanted to still make it look decent.
I referenced Grimlock's G1, Animated, and one of the variations of the comics designs (at the time I hadn't started reading the comics or watching TFA, just looked for refs on Google) and reference some of my Zoid models for parts like the legs and tail. The image itself is a blatant copy of this scene from Jurassic Park since I was having trouble finding a dynamic enough pose for Grimlock. But it was fun to draw none-the-less UvU
(The other bots in the picture are Ratchet and Bulkhead btw)
