This is the region of Meteora in Greece. One of its translation means "in the heavens above" and that sunrise it really felt like it. The clouds were just right for this extraordinary display of light making the experience one of a kind.

Just a quick explanation of the weather conditions since I got some comments that this looks unreal and one stupid comment that it is fake.
I am looking south-west. We were there before sunrise and we had those low clouds at our backs and to the right moving towards us. Everywhere else there was clear skies. By the time the sun rose those clouds have reached this position slowly filling the clear sky of the frame. So keep in mind that the clouds are beneath the sky dome and the transition doesn't go from blue to clouds. It is rather the opposite. If you have any further questions let me know.

this is stupidly fake and for you to say that this is some sort of weather condition making the clouds like this is asinine and quite pathetic. any good photographer that sees this knows that the sky has been manipulated to shit
