Description
A fun yet challenging drawing that I personally wanted to make. Using as reference a scene from a movie called Lolita that I found here . I wanted to see if I could simulate the look and feel of that but with Ahsoka and Barriss instead. This was also a great exercise for drawing lighting and shadows and other values, so something I certainly to do more often.Consider supporting me on Patreon , where I post Higher res and even PSD files of my works as rewards every month!

I wanted to see Ahsoka and Barriss end up together in the last episode but instead we got Barriss betrayal and Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order

Hmm, overall I love the piece. The lighting and shading, the patterns and crumpled lines on the sheets, very nicely done. However, Ahsoka's smile and face seem to convey a colder more guarded expression. Perhaps it's the rigidness of her stance or the slight upturned smile that reminds me of a sneer as opposed to a smile. Barriss's hair for me was the first piece of uncertainty I love the light outline and the individual strand beside her face, but the upturned ends of the hair, I don't know, maybe it's just me but something seems off.
I haven't seen the reference scene so this is what I take from this piece as an initial perspective. To close, I am by no means saying I dislike this piece, I adore these characters and the lighting and shading aspect you were going for works fantastically, I merely am offering what I, as an observer, see when I looked at this.

No problem, I do appreciate when I can get constructive critique since it helps me to improve later. It's been a long time since I had drawn this version of Ahsoka, so I feeling rusty.
