Description
A friend of mine, who is a dancer and an amazing artist, requested me to draw her a ballerina... so here it is!
My very first picture using my brand-new Pantone Tria markers!!!!
I'm sooooo happy I've finally bought them... I'm not perfect with them yet, but they're so incredibly easy and comfortable to use! (Though again, I've always been better with traditional media than with digital...). I love them to bits. Expect a lot of traditional art from me in the next few weeks....
I know that the hands suck badly, and I pretty screwed up the face coloring because I started there (yeah, I know, bad idea), and I wasn't having a very good grip on the markers yet, they bleeded and blended more than I expected. So yeah.
But overall, I'm pretty happy with how this came out!
[EDIT] Sorry for the reposting. I was told that there were some white strokes left on the border of the picture, so I fixed that up.
[Made with Staedtler pigment liners, black marker, grey Pantone Tria markers, colour ink]

I don't really do ballet but I love writing about stuff like that (sometime ill post that story that I think was my best ever) and I must must must say that this looks great! And the face isn't un even it looks shaded juuuuust right

They're special art markers, not regular water-based markers you find in any shop, that's why.

All of the details on the top, the dress, the contrast, I love it all. This is one of my favorites by you. And at least you can draw hands >_< The hands that I draw probably don't even count as hands, they're so atrocious.
