Ahh. This is fanart for another manga called "Legends of the Past". It is the second book of Total Switch, instead this one as you can see, is much more serious. XD
In SAS, you get to see what happened to the antagonists in the past. Didja caught Shadow's 3rd eye?

There's always something about your work that catches my attention from the very first time i experience looking at it. Maybe it's the amount of originality and history concept that it is marinated in that makes it so alluring. Such beauty tantamount to me having to yonder on it's brilliance for weeks.
There's so many elements that intrigue me and I love the way that it can be interpreted in my branches but no matted how hard i try to place the pieces together- the jig saw puzzle remains incomplete.
The features that are soldered into the piece look like reparations- the flying creature which Shadow is travelling upon represents the unusual past of his shrouded by beings never seen before carrying him away from what lays at the back of his mind. The thoughts that linger in the back of his mind are represented by the small plant and the giant creature the the back which Shadows deems to escape from.
The dismal empty look of Shadow displays just how much his past has marred him however the giant creature has marked it's territory and will not let Shadow come back and change what has happened. A third eye lies on Shadows forehead which will scar him to be chained to something or someone, maybe? but it could also be argued to represent the way in which he sees things now.
The eye is like the vision f his mind thus on his forehead but due o his unknown past his vision has blurred causing him to see everything in a tearful way. How he feels about things and people is different. even so the image of large teeth of the creature in the sky will always render in his blinded eye.
The distilled background presents glorious mountain range which is tipped with a frosty white blanket. Magnificent planets encircle the sky with wispy clouds to accompany. Such amazing serene area can only endure a peaceful ambiance. They say to look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. Maybe this is correct but the biggest contrast i see here is the outstanding music piece that plays.
And within nature, a bird will not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song. And like wise I cannot find an answer for the concept behind Shadow's world here nor what he has embraced through life so far but i can certainly try to find what this song is saying. And if i close my eyes and listen- my mind is engulfed and i imagine the battle that goes on within Shadow.
Not even the tranquility of the nature that surrounds him can block out the war of the music that he sings through the vision of his third eye. This battlefield is bloody and only one stays standing. Shadow the Hedgehog.
Overall, i enjoyed this piece, it totally blew me away and i look forward to the unveiling of Shadow's concealed past. I hope that i will survive the war until then. ~
