I don't like this image so much, but you illustrated it nicely, you got mad skills.... you just point them at super anime looking anime anime.
Some of my favorite shit in illustrations is super stylized character design, the problem with everyone who draws anime, is they aren't developing their own style. Well sort of, but only within the context of a very limited thing. I think it's a total crutch, and it sucks to see so many talented artists who pump out uninteresting stuff that people like by virtue of the fact that it's a certain style.
I don't know, I'm not trying to bash you- just ranting.

While I agree with you on the principal that drawing only fan arts or drawings aiming to resemble one particular style is limiting here however it's not the case. First of all you are on the artist's spam account. So you only can see works that weren't good enough to be shown on the main one. Second of all drawing anime things for fun while experimenting with your skills on other pieces isn't a bad thing. You are judging an artist by only one drawing it's like judging a book, after reading only few pages.

I am not judging her, as I said it was more of a thought. When I see well-drawn uninteresting anime stuff, it makes me sad is all, I wasn't saying that she exclusively produced that kind of work. Just that this particular piece falls into that category in my books. I also said she's got mad illustrative skills, so really I wouldn't be surprised if she had some excellent stuff.
