Hello friends it is time for the depression arc....... Hope it hurts decently well.

So the great-grandfather was from Sara's mom's side of the family, a long line of navy officers. The officer who scatters his ashes is his eldest daughter. Sara's mom attempted this career as well due to the family's expectations, but quickly realized that it wasn't for her. She's an artist now. Next to her in the panel is her sister who stuck with it.
Rijon's military hasn't fought in a war since before that great-grandfather was even born. (This information will be important someday. But don't worry about it.)
Coming up with a whole new funeral speech without any religious themes from our world sure was A Time. The whole burial culture in Rijon is big on scattering ashes in various places btw, it's not just a navy tradition.
Did u know that painting dozens of forget-me-nots by hand builds character
Then we have a lot of talking to make sense of what happened, of course. Enjoy!
Annnnd the new teammate is Donna the Electabuzz! She was caught on Pg. 38 . I love the Electabuzz line so much, you can't even understand. ;w; Also in my second Nuzlocke ever, on FireRed Omega, Elekid was my starter and it died unglamorously to a random trainer near Fuchsia City. So I was very excited to try again!

Damn, this was one of those pages that had been marinating in my head for a long, long time. So nice to finally get it out. Would have been out much earlier without that one panel, you know which one. :') Kris-make-one-page-without-an-impossible-hurdle-right-at-the-beginning challenge.............

Next time: Staying out there for a while longer.
