Description The raven-haired woman was normally rather composed, and not that bad at poker, but when she was on the verge of losing her third hand in a row, in a first to three wins kind of deal... she was not really at the top of her game. Normally losing a game wasn't such a concern, after all you gamble and you win, and sometimes you lose. But in this case, she hadn't brought money with her as usual, and was rather needing some herself, but without money she had to... improvise.

Which was probably the only reason she had wagered her entire wardrobe with the red-headed woman seated across from her.

"You know, if you're just going to scowl at me like that, you should probably just fold. I mean, if you had a good hand, you wouldn't be scowling at me, right?" taunted the woman with a giggle.

While that was true, the girl still shot a glare at her anyway, "Shut up. Pair of queen's, alright? Best damn hand all day..."

"Hey, I think you're right! Too bad I still win," the woman laid down her cards slowly, a smile on her face, "three of a kind, of two's. Which sadly beat your poor queens to a pulp. Guess even a trio of peasants can overpower a duo of royalty, eh?"

The raveness threw up her hands and nearly slammed them back down on the table, but composed herself – there wasn't a need to make a scene. She had nearly forgotten she was inside a public establishment, even if they were off in a quiet section and there wasn't too many people around. But if she started flipping tables, they'd take note quickly.

Her opponent leaned back in her chair, "Well, I win dear. Now, I guess I could ask you to strip right here but, I'll be kind... I'll go rent a room, I'll bring you a key, and you'll show me my prize in private. Fair deal, isn't it?"

The girl paused for a moment before speaking, "R-right... just let's get this over with. I just need to go get a drink, and I'll be right along."

This seemed to appease the red-head, who gleefully hopped out of her chair and began to march off in search of the owner. The raven-haired girl took this chance to get herself a drink... and slip out a side door, into the night. She normally didn't break deals like this, but like hell she was going to strip naked for some random stranger tonight.

~

While a bit of alcohol in her system had improved her mood slightly, it did not do much to solve her money problems. Finding a job was still her best bet, but that hadn't yielded any success for quite a few months and it didn't look like it was going to happen anytime soon. Possibly getting a loan from some... groups would work, but then she'd have to pay them back. And not paying them back might net her a trip to the river with some fancy new boots, which was really not an appealing trip.

Striding up to her apartment door, she fumbled within her jacket for the keys and opened the door to allow herself access to her humble abode. Tossing her jacket aside almost immediately, the raven-haired girl beelined for the bathroom where she could wash her face.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she had to sigh just a bit. The recent stresses were taking their toll, and she could see the slight marks of fatigue and stress around her blue eyes. Her fair skin lacked make-up, but that was probably for the best as she could hardly afford to go and spend money on that stuff anyway. Her raven-hair was a bit messy and growing a bit past her waist now, perhaps she should consider a shower and a haircut in the near future.

But that could wait until the morning, after that horrible night she just wanted to -

"That was awfully rude of you, you know. Do I have to consider placing a geas on people before I accept bets?"

The familiar voice jolted her wide awake and she was horrified to find the red-headed woman seated on her bed. Gone was the pleased, smiling face from earlier, replaced with a stern, angered expression.

"H-how did you...?"

The red-head threw up her gloved hands, "It's really easy to find someone when I've had time to study them. It's all a bunch of magical jargon to you, but think about it in a way of how a dog tracks things, and I just happened to study you long enough to pick out your trail. It's a habit, but I guess when people try to run from their deals, it comes in handy."

Magical jargon? Shit, was this woman a wizard or something? This night was just getting better and better...

"I-I had no way of knowing you were a wizar - " started the girl, backing up slowly with her hands spread in front of her.

"Witch. Not a wizard, I'm not some suit-wearing, staff-carrying old man with a beard." corrected the witch hastily, "Now, with that out of the way, I believe you agreed if you lost our little wager, that you would strip. Instead, you ran away on me, so while I could ask you to make good on your agreement, I feel after that breach of trust, I will just take matters into my own hands."

"Now wait just a minute wit - "

Her argument was interrupted by nearly falling flat on her face as she felt her foot slip, and her shoe fly off. Just as she recovered her balance, the other shoe flew off as well, nearly causing her to stumble again. It wouldn't take a genius to realize that the red-headed witch was apparently able to use her magic to well, forcibly strip her.

"I guess I can understand that you are a bit desperate for money, so maybe you didn't really think you'd lose that sort of bet, but still..." the red-head only paused in her talking to fling the girl's socks off, "it's in poor taste to give one's word and then break it."

The raveness struggled to keep her pants on, as she felt the button begin to move, "W-wait, can't we talk this over!? This is a bit... much r-right, I mean, why do you even care?"

The witch paused, her finger still pointed at the girl's jeans, "It's more the principle of the matter. But, you know what? I have a better idea. This is fun and all, but how about I propose a second bet. Before I do so, I guess it's worth noting if you refuse, I will just keep flicking your clothing aside until you're as naked as the day you were born, so that's something to keep in mind.

"We'll play another game of poker. Instead of a first to three, it'll just be normal strip poker. Lose a hand, lose an article of clothing. If you win dear, I'll give you the agreed upon sum from earlier, plus some extra to buy back my clothing. However, if you lose..." the witch's eyes sparkled with glee, "I'll have you as my personal maid for a week. In the nude as well. And this time, I'm placing a geas upon the game, so we're both going to keep to our word. Do you agree?"

Now she didn't know much about magic, but she knew enough to know a geas was some sort of magical compulsion that would force her to do whatever was placed upon her. But, well, if she refused...

"I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"You do, but I guess not much of one. But so glad you agree my dear! Well, before we begin the game, why don't we introduce ourselves? And don't try to lie to me, you know I can figure out if I need too."

The raven-haired girl gulped, "R-right. I'm Alicia."

"Charmed to meet you, you may call me Myst. Now, why don't you get your shoes and socks back on, I have some cards in my pocket."

- - -

Alicia hadn't really taken much time to look over this mysterious witch, Myst. But now considering the stakes, perhaps it was a good time. She had to admit, the red-head was fairly attractive. Her hair was excessively long, sweeping down to the woman's ankles, and while she had considered her a red-head, upon close inspection the witch's hair was more of a pale, or washed out red, maybe even boarding to a pinkish hue almost.

Myst's pale skin seemed to match with the pale appearance of her hair color however, and the witch had piercing blue eyes. Her figure seemed quite curvy, but with her clothing in the way it was a bit difficult to get a good look...

It occurred that they hadn't really agreed upon a set number of clothing prior to the game's start, but Alicia could take an educated guess from what she could see. Myst wore a fairly casual get-up, a rather typical top and jeans sort of look, but with long, elbow-length gloves on her arms and some boots. So with her undergarments, the witch probably had seven articles of clothing on. Which would put her on par with herself, as the witch had allowed her to even put her jacket back on.

Judging from earlier this night Myst was a fairly talented, or perhaps lucky player, but at least this time the raven-haired girl had some liquid courage to help steel her resolve... and she didn't much like the idea of serving as a naked maid for a week.

Without money to exchange hands, the rounds went by fairly quickly and it didn't take long for Alicia to be down her jacket, shoes, and socks, and for Myst to be down her boots and socks, and with Alicia winning a hand, the witch did not opt to remove her gloves.

The witch rose from her seat and wiggled out of her jeans, revealing a pair of lacy red panties beneath, and her long, pale legs. With a flourish and bow, she tossed the jeans aside before returning to her seat, apparently unconcerned with her state of dress.

"Why didn't you just remove your gloves?" asked Alicia, raising an eyebrow

"A bit too predictable and boring, don't you agree? Besides, I like my gloves." replied Myst smoothly, running a gloved hand through her hair, "And come on, you liked the show, didn't you? Might be the most you see."

Alicia rolled her eyes and returned her attention to the cards. She couldn't shake the feeling the witch was sizing her up, but as she lost a hand, and then another hand, the girl was far more concerned with the fact she was left in simply her plain, white undergarments. They probably clashed nicely with the deep red blush spreading across her face.

Now the girl wasn't unattractive, she had a fairly good figure and a rather modest bust, but she did not like the idea of serving this witch in the buff for a week, and as a maid. And it didn't help that Myst seemed to be eying her like a meal, more then a person – she swore she saw the witch's tongue lick her lips a few times.

As the cards were laid down again, the raven-haired girl shuddered as the cards dealt her another blow. The red-head witch reclined in her chair, "You know the rules, take it off girly. You know, or I can magic it off you and the geas can do the rest."

Her face burning with shame, she nervously reached behind her back and unclasped her bra after a few minutes of fumbling, she kept an arm folded over her bust as she dropped the offending undergarment. The witch sighed and shrugged, "So very shy, it's not like you've got anything I haven't seen before. It isn't like you have a crowd of cheering and jeering fans watching you. Although, I could probably make it feel like you have that happening, if you want."

"N-no, I'll pass on that. The things I do when I need money..."

The witch fanned herself with her cards, "You could do worse, at least you didn't take a loan from the mafia or something. I hear they give great boots to people who can't pay them back."

Alicia had to admit, Myst had a point there. But at least a dip in the river would be over faster then a week of naked shame... which was where the girl saw herself ending up, as the last hand of the game was dealt and she was forced to remove her panties, leaving herself bare to a total stranger. The witch's eyes roamed all over her nude form, taking in each little curve and bit of skin with a critical eye.

"Not too bad. You would do good as a fairly average, plain girl I suppose. But I guess that sounds a bit harsh, doesn't it?" the witch laughed, "Now then, I'll just get you to my home, and we'll get you cleaning I think. I might give you an adorable little frilly hairband!"

- - -

"Mother, is it really wise to bring total strangers into our house? I cannot imagine the more... organized magic users will be pleased to hear about some unregistered witch running around their city." questioned a purple-haired woman with a frown.

Myst laughed and shook her head, "Come now my dear! You know me better then that. After the week is up, the geas will wipe her memory of all of this. As far as she's aware, she'll just think she won some money at the casino, and won't even remember me. You ah, did get the money, right?"

The short-haired woman nodded her head, "Of course, it wasn't too difficult. I wouldn't suggest we remain in this city for long however, just to be safe."

"Not confident in your job, Faye? That's not like you. Or do you just not like this place? I do admit, it's kind of dull here. Did you have somewhere in mind?" asked Myst, taking her eyes off the nude raven-haired girl cleaning the room.

"Well, no I can't say I do mother. But, well, I guess I may have heard of some places with some... unusual going ons that may interest you."

A grin flashed on the witch's face, "Don't leave me in suspense! Let me hear it."

Huh, should probably have read this before PrinceBuffoon's fan-fics, but still, nice to have finally read a story with Myst from her original creator. And a good story, it is ^_^. I should probably read it again sometime when I'm not being distracted by people making noise in an adjacent room XD.

Me and Prince's writing styles are pretty different! I'm also far, far lazier.

For someone who's horribly out of practice, this was astonishingly well-written! I enjoyed the read very much, and Myst was a very fun character. I find myself wishing Alicia sticks around a little longer, actually - the Witch and Her Naked Maid makes for a lovely duo! The dialogue worked out nicely, and the descriptions were colourful - all in all, very nice! I hope you do write a sequel!

Really? I thought I kind of rushed things myself, but I might be really, really critical of myself ahahahaha.

And maybe... Myst is a bit easier for me to write, simply because she's actually an original character I made up for something else entirely, and I was lazy so I was like "Meh, let's use her!"
