i draw the left one in oct 2009, that is my first deviations at here
and the right one, i draw it this morning.
he is my OC, Machida Yukari

so.. do i improved?

maybe i draw the left one several years ago, but seriously.. i still use the same color pencils. to be honest i use the same color pencils since 5 years ago. i got this color pencils from my mom as a reward because i get a good score in my high school.. and i really love this color pencils (even now this color pencils almost reached it life limit OTL).

but something that i want to say here is, i improved is not because i change my tools of trade into the more fancy media. i improved because i keep practice and hear the suggestions and the critiques from the other people...

sometimes, people always say that the artist can make a beautiful artworks because they use a very expensive media like pen tablet or the copic marker. but its not, you should see their efforts in creating those beautiful artworks.

its right that the good media can help us to make a good artworks, but besides that you should improved your own skill.. every artist have the same main media to create their artworks. your hands and your mind...
