Entry for the "draw this again" contest, but also because i really wanted to draw another phoenix. A phoenix was the first picture I ever uploaded to dA, and i was so proud of it. I even remember thinking something along the lines of "omg, look how good i am already, i don't even need to improve that much" which thinking back is really very funny. I mean, i still feel like my art has a long, long way to go, and every time i look at the old image i just want to cringe. I'm even reluctant to bring it back to your attention XD

I'm a bit worried that this is very little like to original image, but there was so little i liked about it, and i wanted to make something i could be proud of. The background is still lacking, and it ended up kinda rushed, but overall i'm really happy with it!

So, have i improved at all in two years?
