Unfortunately... I don't like this one very much. I hate to say that, too, because I normally LOVE your work, and your photos are an inspiration to me.
It's not your fault, though. I think the posing and lighting, along with the camera being too close, really bring this shot down.
The lighting is too bright and too harsh. Your skin is blown out in the highlights to pure white. Your gorgeous, gorgeous hair, which in all your other pictures is a lovely, deep, rich shade of black, looks pale and washed out here.
I think the camera is a little too close to your head, which makes your forehead look a little big. It creates a foreshortening that makes your head look very big relative to your body. It also means your expression just looks uncomfortable.
I hate to be so critical, since, as I've said, I love your pictures and always look forward to your submissions. Unfortunately, the photographer just didn't do you justic.

Ironically, Deviant Art awarded this photograph a Deviation of the Day. Such a harsh and personal critique for such a stunning photograph of a beautiful woman. Just goes to show that one persons rejection can be spurned into global recognition.
I join the other 26 deviants who thought this critique was unfair.

i disagree with the comments in the critique. i think the overexposded skin color and harsh light are indicative of the hard lifestyle the "character" in the picture is living.
