Description
To paint a watercolor is not difficult.This is another sketch that I made for a painting school. I submit only to show how is possible to obtain a simple watercolor in a short time trying to save the meaning of the image.
For this purpose I have already submitted:

Dear Pat, you are right, as usual. To declare "easy" this sketches was a mistake, in a good faith. My intention was not to be "arrogant", believe me. I only used a not appropriate word to convince some possible beginner that also with a not complicated drawing or subject is possible to obtain a satisfactory result and, also important, that watercolor has not to be always soft and delicate.
You are one of the few persons that can understand my intention, dear Pat.
Now the series is finished and I will come back to my traditional works.

please don't be offended and, above all, don't take my comment too seriously! I was only pulling your leg a little bit
Of course I know and understand that you are only trying to convince people that painting watercolours isn't as difficult as it is always made out to be.
One always hears people say: "Oh, my goodness, watercolour is the most difficult medium of all!"
And you and I both know that this is total nonsense. Right?
Watercolour is the only medium where the picture "paints itself"..... but only if you know what you are doing, and only if you let it.... and therein lies the great difficulty for many people (including me.... very often).
So, dear Alberto, please don't mind me and my poor jokes and keep posting your lovely works for all of us to enjoy!

Dear Pat, I do not feel "offended" at all and mainly from you
In the past, 12 0r 13 years ago, after the first tragic attempts with watercolor, I decided to have lesson from a painter. I have been so lucky to meet a very famous one, the number one in Italy at that time, that always told us : Don't'worry, use the water, let the water run... is not so difficult...
May be I have this concept still in mind and repeat to all the boys and girls that are in trouble with this media. But, one thing is to listen directly from a person that shoows to you the way, and another one to write.shortly ..
Unfortunately my beloved teacher Anna Pavesi, died after two years and I did not found another to continue.
And now, Pat, I have to explain why I love so much your pictures: your way to paint, your style represent exactly what my beloved teacher tryed to tranfer to us... You paint like she painted, with the same love and skill, with "real" colors, soft only when necessary and now is better I stop here.
Last but not least , I adore jokes ...
