this was supposed to be for Halloween....but I forgot to upload it. So uh...happy late Halloween.Oh and as we all know, drifloon, despite it's deceptively cute balloon appearance, likes to kidnap children off to the underworld....so...happy belated halloween.

Well, this how it goes in its head, anyway (apparently the kid usually drags off the Drifloon). Keep dreaming, little guy! ^_^

I know that people are always shocked to here about pokemon like Hypno or Driftloon that kidnap children....
...but, if you think about, the Pokemon are just returning the favor. The entire series is about children using this mysterious device called a "Poke Ball" and mind controlling creatures that were hostile (or perhaps they were just fighting in self defense...when you grind in those games, exactly how many wild Pokemon do you beat to unconsciousness and then leave to die?) and now are suddenly super loyal.
I'm just saying we really should've seen this coming.

Aren't Drifloon supposed to try to kidnap children but just being dragged around by children because they're too light? IIRC, onlt Drifblim have enough strength to carry children away.

That can be said for the american pokedex, however i the japanese version, it is specifically stated that drifloon "carry them off to the world of the dead".

I was just lamenting my forgetting to comment on your adorable drifloon hanging out with your vaporeons. I am very glad to have a second chance at congratulating your skill at rendering these eerie ghost pokemon.
You sure have given a nicely sinister, mildly comical spin on these normally chibi spectres. There's quite a bit of character in that pupil devoid ghoulish grin. Just watch it carry off that poor kid with those legs that appear to have come right off a secretary bird. By the hood no less. At one point, I was wondering why the child wasn't choking, but considering it's a zippered hoodie, I now am finding myself wondering how she's being supported by it. In any case, wonderful picture, and great textures on this pokemon's "skin", which actually looks quite like the outside of a balloon (especially great in forming that ghastly smile!).

I always thought it was a psychocomp for children rather than trying to steal their souls. Especially since their Japanese pokedex entry says that they take children to the world of the dead and it's Super Smash Bros. Brawl says that its taking children to the world of the dead. But you probably made this for fun and laughs and I'm being too serious.
