Actor Hiroyuki Sanada doing an ad...I think it was for a men's fragrance.^^ He had beautifully textured hair which I don't think I captured at all. Oh well.Unfortunately this pic doesn't show his mouth--his best feature--but I *loved* the jacket, so I drew it anyway.
Done in mechanical pencil, restored after scanner with Photoshop.

The enlarged version is actual size. On the right side is a bad Photoshopping job of trying to correct for camera shadows...ah well. Digital will never be as good as seeing in person.^^

^^ ads are the best source for people references, tho copyrights can be an issue if you plan to sell. beautiful work, especially the eyes!
