I recently came across a fellow photomanipulator's artwork based on this image and had to take a stab at the stock.The model is really expressive here and that really adds some emotion to the final piece.
I love all the green.

Another awesome manip, though my only fix ould be the placing of teh whiskers, I think tey would be more spaced and possibly up higher, though I ilke what you've done with them because they look mroe realistic in this placing on a human, since we naturally have hairabove our lips.

Try new things. Google tutorials that might help you achieve the effect you want. Rreference other peoples work. And above all else, PRACTICE 
Also, I use the liquify tool a lot.

I like yours better than the other artist's version. The only thing that doesnt completely fool the eye for me is the ear. Not sure if it lighting, texture or what. This might sound silly but the part I like the best is the hair/fur around the mouth. When most folks do fur in these kind of manips its so obvious, but yours looks great to me.

Well, the ear was an addition with nothing to base it on. The lighting is a bit off.
I, too, dig the sprouting fur around her mouth.

wow awesome!!! great to see another one from you. the ear you added in looks very natural. the teeth and eyes are just amazing. love the texture on the nose, and the whiskers and bushy eye brows are neat. i can't wait to see more
