Did a litlle dance when I saw this picture in the midst of all the pictures in groups. This is just amazing! I see you requested a critique on this work, so here you go:
Composition: Nailed it, Great rule of third execution
Shutter speed: Nailed it, it's crispy clear and sharp but leaves some motion blur in the falling snow as to show the speed and direction of snow and wind.
Color: Nailed it, A dark horse in white surroundings and yet alll the parts that need clarity and texture have the perfect lighting. I personally love the ombre haircolor dye the little horse has done
Apperature: Nailed it, Head perfectly in focus, texture on body visible but a little blurred so it isn't distracting or making the image appear flat.
So I can only come to the following conclusion:

Your attack is very effective, Moon Flower is confused.
Es ist so, dass viele Pferde kein echt schwarzes Fell haben sondern nur sehr dunkel braun bzw. sehr dunkel kastanienbraun, was man im grellen Licht dann sehen kann.
Rappen (Pferde mit schwarzer Fellfarbe) sind nicht so häufig.
Zumindest ist das, was ich gelernt habe, falls ich es nicht vergessen haben sollte und einen Fehler gemacht habe.
