"If evolution product of design, is evolution... evolution? Hmm... Line of thought not productive."

evolution has no plan, like design has. It is more a trying, getting forward by failing also, I would say. Design don't ballows failures, right?

idk, I consider the english bulldog a complete design failure that shouldn't exist, other people think is perfect-ly cute.

The thing is, if one species would give birth to a new species... that would invalidate evolutionary theory and force biologists to go back to square one. The fact that new species do not suddenly appear fully formed is exactly what the theory of evolution predicts!
A lot of the "gotchas" from creationists are things that --if they actually happened-- would prove the theory wrong. In other words, the very things that they claim "disprove evolution" are in fact the things that the theory predicts... and these things validate the theory! Their "gotchas" are things that support the theory. If we ever found such a thing as a "crockoduck" in the fossil record, that would be very strong evidence for... creation!
