Okay, so maybe I got the misconception that they were supposed to be wearing the masks as well as have an outfit designed like the masks; which, ya know, just goes to show how well I pay attention, because I made this yesterday, and I've seen all the other entries so far and still somehow missed the fact that none of them are wearing the masks. Nevertheless, I am in love with the feather thingies (yes, they're facing the wrong direction, but that's okay), so I just had to add them. I'm just dead gone over these one-straps; they're so sheik! I did kinda forget what doll maker I was using for a sec, because I was looking forever for this three-bead-string piece that's actually from the Mermaid Scene, so I had to improvise a little with some of my gem placements; I never noticed before how actually huge they are for certain areas. Anyway, here's my entry, so thank you all for your support, and thanks especially to SportyPeach9891 for all the fun she's put so much effort into!MarySue1964

I agree with GingerDancer , you did not misunderstand anything. Creating the actual mask along with an outfit inspired by it was totally optional, meaning you did not have to do it. But you were able to make it work, so kudos to you!

The gown is lovely. And you didn't misunderstand anything, the option of making the mask was part of the whole thing. Personally I couldn't find a way to make my mask without it looking like crap which is why I made a dress based off of/what could go with my mask.
