The shutter of the cameras nearly drowned out the sound of the crowd, bright, hot white lights kept them warmer than the champagne and wine. The competition had been fun, stressful, and at moments it reminded Mikayla just how small her operations were in comparison to other stables out there, but still fun.

Mark hadn't been interested in the new years ball- wearing a suit and watching grownups dance was much less interesting than staying in their temporary quarters and watching Encanto. Again. For the 9th time since it came out.
'We don't talk about Bruno' could be frequently heard in the home and the stables. It hadn't driven her crazy...yet. There was still time. It was no different than when Frozen came out and Let It Go hadn't been ' let go' for nearly two years. She still had three of those dresses in various sizes in the 'prop' room for when the kids wanted to do something extra special for one of their shows. Now she'd have to get a green poncho of sorts. At least it meant there were a lot of options for Halloween or any costume parties in the future!

Speaking of parties, it was time to get this one started!

I've been sick this entire week, voice is gone and no energy/state of mind to art, clean, anything really. It's getting better... slowly, but surely.
In the meantime, it's a great time to just stare at sparkly and shiny things!
I hope I'll have the energy to do more than what I've already started. It's always important to plan and sketch ahead, because time moves way too quickly.
