But it make me wonder about the other sections of the ship. Like the bridge and the side compartments of the ship. Do they generate gravity by thrust (if still using hard sci-fi means.) Or do they have the magic gravity generators in those sections like what you see in star wars/trek and others?

Well I do like that idea. Would those sections be for storage of extra goods that would be needed but not needed currently?
Also the top section of the ship, is that the hanger, observation deck/bridge, or a large motion sensor for the command center located somewhere in the rotating habitat?

...sad to see most of the spacecraft having military outlooks, looks like some sort of 21st century paranoia. People could better come up with more industrial or civil designs, scientific expedition causes, maybe something else. Anyway solid stuff, congrats!

Looks like something someone I know would build in minecraft. He built a passenger spaceship that somewhat resembled this and it was absolutely massive.

Thanks, I made a very simple block model in sketchup for perspective and then did a heavy paintover/photobash on top

Wonderful piece of work, a great ship design with lovely lines and form. A beautifully composited picture too the environment, the video scan lines and those beautiful classic chromed colours work so well in this image.
