This illustration is wonderful.
I love the texture in the water and the reflections of the mermaid on it.

It's great. There is however a thing or 2 that bugs me. First of all, how many breast does she have? Second, it seems like her arm is dislocated and/or not a part of her body. Lastly, the arm pit is way too prononced. I have the impression her body stops there while it continues. Other than that, the textures are fabulous and the colors makes her look alive, despite those points I mentionned earlier. Keep up the good work ^^ I always look forward to see your pieces.

Thank you a lot for the critic! I will mind these points for my next human drawing. Since I start drawing I was focused on animals. Human anatomy was always really hard for me since a few month I practice a lot. I hope I will get much better soon So every critic is welcome Thank you!

Haha ^^ I do the contrary with my work. Since I have a hard time with human anatomy overall, I try to work on it as much as I can. I rarely draw animals Β even thought they are fun. Always a pleasure to help

Use PoseManiacs.com if you need help with anatomy. You can choose skeletal or muscular. It's a big help. I think that artists who feel insecure about human anatomy over-think the fact that they're drawing a person. Animals tend to look completely the same to us, whereas we see noticeable differences in humans. This is what I feel I did all throughout high school. I could quickly draw everything else, but I'd freak out over the face. I only saw my classmates, not a still life. PoseManiacs seems to make human anatomy more anonymous to me, so I have less trouble studying anatomy. Then I can toy around with facial variations. Perhaps that will help you!
