So I finished watching Legend of Korra and I think we need our heroes (and Asami) in the jungles in the next one.anyway, this was based on the idea of more detailed pictures of characters that are not uncommon in manga publications where the author (or 'mangaka') draws some of the characters in completely unrelated outfits and scenarios for covers or random transitional illustrations. I don't know about a lot of them, but I know Akira Toriyama did that with his Dragon Ball characters a lot.

It took Asami nearly six weeks to get to the nearest Fire Nation city after her Mk1 Flying Armour prototype experienced what she later told a near-hysterical Korra was an "Unplanned In-flight Explosive Self-Disassembly". She never really talked about what she went through during that long trek through the desert and savannah grasslands separating her from civilisation but there was no doubt that there was a hardness about her and a belief in herself that somehow made her seem to walk taller...
And also an appreciation for raw rat-lizard meat that made Mako turn a strange colour whenever she'd mention it.

I really like this. I've been reading a lot of manga, more so than I have before, and the offbeat scenarios are something I really enjoy seeing.

I just saw your Korra piece. Both are really good! But quick thing, Asami's left arm looks a little wonky. I can tell it's supposed to be at an angle, but I don't know if it's the shadowing or what.

The creator of Naruto does it too, and so does Tita Kubo, creator of Bleach. This is really fun though, I love the colors and the lighting, not to mention yours lines are amazing
