I’ve cleaned up my gallery a little and I combined a lot of my fantasy concept/sketches into larger more convenient files. I apologize to my old-school watchers since you’ve probably seen all of these before. I did include some new written info though.To my new watchers, this is the stuff that happens in my head, usually at the most inconvenient of times, but I try my best to document it anyways. I hope you enjoy it.
This is one of 3 main characters from my fantasy headverse. His name is Rihinn Ehvander. A war, that takes place during his early childhood, kills his biological family. Soon afterwards he is taken in and raised by the Ehvanders. He grows up to become the town doctor thanks to his foster mother teaching him everything she knows about medicine. However, Rihinn has also inherited powerful magical abilities from his biological parents and can cure illnesses far beyond anything his foster mother ever could. Rihinn’s fame as a healer spreads throughout the land and the demand for his services brings him to a nearby city. Rihinn learns that his healing abilities come at a price. The more he uses them the more his destructive abilities grow. He decides to study sorcery in order to gain control over these frightening new powers. During his studies he learns of a sorcerer from years past simply known as the Dark. It is said that the Dark had similar magical abilities and was obsessed with a mythical place called Shadowrealm (a land of supposed immense magical power). No one knows for sure what happened to the Dark. It’s said that he simply disappeared. With his powers growing more and more out of control, Rihinn becomes desperate to either find a way into Shadowrealm or find this sorcerer a.s.a.p.

It took me so long to comment on this because you've just blown my mind with how awesome and unique your OCs are, I can't even formulate anything else coherent, but just know that I love ALL of them. ;A;

I should probably have that be one of my goals too. PSHHHH yeah right GI-Ace...yeah right. I neglect my OCs so bad, I'd sell 'em for soda change lol.

because I no have good ideas ;_; I was like OH YEAH I'M ON A ROLL! Then I hit that 4-5 page and was liek...durp. XD
Plus I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to them lol. That was my first one OTL

what about making stand alone "scenes" instead of following a "page 1,2,3,4, etc" type scheme? i've completely abandoned the notion of making my OC comics in a traditional linear format. if i wait to get the full story figured out in my mind i will be a 1000 years old before i start drawing.

i suppose i can't stay mad at my addictions though. they've sent me on a wonderful side-quest in which i finally conquered my phobia of making comics.

That's good though that your addictions have contributed like that! If it weren't for SPN, I'd be going on a half a year+ art slump because I'm unmotivated otherwise >_>

Partial transformation is horrifying...though it might be a good perma-Beast-head-replacement (the regular one can sometimes look cute, dunno if you're going for that).
OK, after seeing these concepts I want you to go out there and draw a My Little Pony or a Polly Pocket or something that cannot physically be shaded with gray.

i think it's the bulging eyes that make partial-face so creepy. what about the design in this painting? ---> [link] better? less cutesy? (mind you, i am not happy with it's teeth in that one)
and MLPs can be gray! i have a gray one in my toy box! XD she has pink hair though. technically, all my pencil drawings are in blue col-erase...i desaturated them for these concept sheets.
